Hiking the Sierra
I fell in love with yoga at age 19 at UC Santa Cruz. We practiced in their new hilltop recreation center with an ocean view. It gave me a way to hold myself steady in difficult times, a pathway to stillness and strength. Yoga has been a constant friend since then. It's what I turn to when I am troubled, or sick, or out of energy, and the first place I go when I'm excited, feel powerful, and full of gratitude. Yoga is the point of access to the best part of myself
