Physical Touch & Acts of Service
Sunning my buns!
Why not Yoga? It’s one of many paths toward bliss, wholeness, and authentic beauty.
My curiosity. My willingness to be vulnerable.
Any forward fold
Buti Yoga has allowed me to express a great deal of strength- through my body and my voice- that I didn’t realize was there. As a soft, empathetic, often quiet person, I’ve found an entirely new side of myself: the lioness, leader of the pack. After Buti Yoga, I feel like a superhero: filled to the brim with courage, bravery, and a healthy sense of self. This practice- though unconventional- gives me more overall energy, motivation to complete tasks I’d been putting off, and compassionate strength for my family and greater community.
Spiders have always come up for me: they are the DANCERS who weave the web of life. (Even though I slightly afraid of them!)
My dad, at 30 years old. I’m curious about the life he used to live and left behind.
1) The first modern/contemporary dance class I had. It instigated a long path that I’m still on.
2) My first day of therapy for an eating disorder - she saved my life.
3) Meeting my now-husband at Burning Man 6+ years ago.
