FAVORITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY

Running along a stream, skipping from rock to rock… Closely tied with swimming in the ocean. :)

WHY YOGA

To connect truthfully with myself and grow into the best person I can be… And to in that also cause positive ripples in this world.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST STRENGTH

Compassionate bravery.

FAVORITE MUSIC/ MUSICIAN

Some favorites right now are Trevor Hall, Kevin Paris, and Leah Song. I could listen to the same song/album for days, weeks at a time and absolutely love it just the same. :)

HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR TEACHING

My hope is that a person’s inner experience during yoga can connect to their experience on and off of the mat and into this world. My classes encourage fluid, inspired movement and an awareness of what our bodies needs in each moment.

WHAT IS YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL & WHY

I’m a mix between an eagle and a whale… Because I’ve always dreamed of flying, yet I love submersing myself deep in the waters. And can I be a puppy too?! I need to dance around and play in life. :)

YOU CAN SPEND AN HOUR ON A PARK BENCH WITH ANYONE, DEAD OR ALIVE, WHO IS IT?  WHAT DO YOU TALK ABOUT?

Okay, getting more fantastical my answer; I would love to sit on a bench with Mother Nature. I’d want to simply sit & feel accepted by her — and then talk about this world, the role I play in it, and what I can do to best support this beautiful life and planet.

TOP LIFE-CHANGING MOMENTS

Embarking on a 10-day silent meditation retreat in Thailand. The FEAR and unknown I felt, yet the acceptance it was what I needed; and the beautiful connections I found through this experience.

The feeling of freedom as I sang one of my favorite songs on stage to people I love.

Trusting fully in the Universe as I left my high-potential job/career path & idea of my future, not knowing where I would go next... And subsequently discovering my passion and love for teaching yoga.
